BRIEF ITINERARY:

Night 1: Hanoi –night train to Lao Cai

Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa – Trek Cat Cat Village – Silver waterfall – HOTEL SAPA (B)

Day 3: Sapa – Trekking to Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van villages HOMESTAY (B, L, D).

Day 4: Ta Van- Giang Ta Chai – Seo Trung Ho HOMESTAY (B,L,D).

Day 5: Seo Trung Ho – Nam Toong – Thanh Phu HOMESTAY (B, L,D)

Day 6: Thanh Phu – Nam Sai – Nam Ken – Ban Ho HOMESTAY (B, L,D)

Day 7: Ban Ho – Sapa – NIGHT TRAIN TO HANOI (B, L)

Day 8: Hanoi conclusion

DETAIL ITINERARY:

Night 1: Hanoi –night train to Lao Cai

8.00 PM: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and transfer to train station to catch a night train to Lao Cai. Embark on a Airconditioning soft sleeper cabin. Overnight on train.

Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa – Trekking to Cat Cat Village – Silver waterfall (B)

Upon arrival at Lao Cai station, our local guide and driver pick up and drive for 38 km up hill to Sapa town. Have breakfast at local restaurant and free to explore the town. In the afternoon we trek to Cat Cat village, and then drive to the silver waterfall. Overnight at hotel, Sapa town.

Day 3: Sapa – Trekking to Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van villages (B, L, D).

After breakfast at your hotel, check out and prepare for the trek today. We will start trekking at 9h30 AM. From Sapa, we do a long 15 km trek along the Muong Hoa valley. Go off the main roads and trek to villages of the Black Hmong people. Great views of the terraced rice field wonder await you and when traveling in the harvesting season, it is very much more appealing with the farmers cutting rice with sickles. We can join in their work. Enjoy taking picture and talking with local people. Lunch will be served in a stopover place. After lunch we continue trekking and will visit schools, Hmong houses on en route. We further trek to Ta Van village – home to the Zay people. We stay tonight here with a Zay family.

Day 4: Ta Van- Giang Ta Chai – Seo Trung Ho (B,L,D).

After the breakfast, farewell to your host family, we will trek along trials through rice fields, bamboo forests, waterfall to Giang Ta Chai, home to the Red Zao people. The scenery is breathtaking on the trekking tracks. Continue to Seo Trung Ho village of red Zao tribe. This is very remote village. Stay overnight and dinner in the Seo Trung Ho village. We will end up today after 16 km trek.

Day 5: Seo Trung Ho – Nam Toong – Thanh Phu (B, L,D)

After breakfast we start our 20 km trek and the trekking today is very challenging when we hike on the dirt small trials through Nam Toon and Thanh Phu village. We stop in Thanh Phu village  and overnight here with the Tay family.

Day 6: Thanh Phu – Nam Sai – Nam Ken – Ban Ho (B, L,D)

More than 20 km hiking path is awaiting us ahead and we will get through Nam Sai Village to visit the Tay People, then we’ll trek up to the Red Dzao Village. The highlight today will be a trek to the village of Xa Pho tribe – the smallest group in Sapa who have very little contact with our modern civilization.  Overnight in the Ban Ho Village.

Day 7: Ban Ho – Sapa – Night train to Hanoi (B, L)

After breakfast, we’ll trek to Ban Den place where we are picked up and transferred back to Sapa. In the afternoon you will have time to experience the colorful Sapa before driving to Lao Cai for the overnight train to Hanoi.

Day 8: Hanoi conclusion

Early in the morning, upon arrival at Hanoi railway station, you will be transferred back to your hotel. End of tour.
