Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival with welcome dinner

Upon arrival in Hanoi, our car driver and tour guide will pick you up at Noi Bai International Airport and then transfer to hotel for check in. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the city with tree lined boulevards, French Indochinese architecture and tranquil lakes of this unique city.
Welcome dinner in a famous local restaurant with Vietnamese food.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City tour

Activities: Visiting the Ho Chi Minh Complex with the President’s Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda before reaching the Temple of Literature, the Saint Joseph Cathedral and Hoan Kiem Lake. meal: Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: Today we will explore the most valuable parts in Hanoi which stores history, culture and architecture of Vietnam. The first destination is the Ho Chi Minh Complex with the President’s Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda. The President’s Mausoleum is the most solemn and memorial place in Hanoi where the greatest leader Ho Chi Minh has been resting in peace. In front of the Mausoleum is the Ba Dinh Square where Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence and found the nation. Next, we will move to the One Pillar Pagoda with unique structure. It looks like a large lotus stand in the center of a lotus filled lake, a must visit place in Hanoi. In the afternoon, having lunch at local restaurant.
Then, we will head to the Temple of Literature which is known as the first university of Vietnam, built in 1070 under the Ly dynasty to dedicate to Confucius and later is teacher Chu Van An and thousands of doctoral laureates in the Mac and Le dynasties. Next we will enjoy the Water Puppet Show before walking to the Saint Joseph Cathedral, a church built in 1886.

Day 3: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Hanoi

Activities: Visit the ancient citadel, ride sampan boat to Tam Coc Caves, Bich Dong Pagoda and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside
Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: We drive to Hoa Lu about three hours from Hanoi; it is located near the town of Ninh Binh province. Hoa Lu is the site of a 10th century capital of an ancient Vietnamese Kingdom called Dai Co Viet, Vietnam’s first capital. You will visit the two remaining sanctuaries of the ancient citadel; take a sampan boat ride through the rice paddies and limestone karsts to reach the sacred Tam Coc Caves. End your visit with a climb up to the Bich Dong Pagoda for panoramic views of the surrounding countryside before returning to Hanoi in the afternoon.

Day 4: Hanoi – Halong Bay

Activities: Visit Ha long Bay, take in the lush scenery, cave visiting
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Itinerary: After breakfast at hotel, we will drive 3.5 hours through the lush scenery of Vietnam countryside to Halong Bay, enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the World’s Natural Wonder.
Start cruising around the bay to see the amazing karsts with different formations: Lion, Tea Pot, Toad, Dau Nguoi (Human Head) islets, then stop for a walk through the Sung Sot (Amazing Cave). The junk arrive TiTop island, you will have 1 hour for visiting, climbing and swimming.
There will be plenty of time for swimming and sunbathing (If weather permitted) after the boat anchors at a clean calm sea. Enjoy a wonderful sunset dinner before retiring to the comfort of your cabin.

Day 5: Halong Bay – Noi Bai Airport – Danang – Hoi An

Activities: Tai Chi on Sundeck, Watching the sunrise, Flight to Hue and depart to Hoi An. meal: brunch

Itinerary: We will enjoy breakfast on boat and watch the sunrise from the deck as your boat sails back to the harbor. Depending on the availability of time after disembarking and then the tour guide will take you go straight to Noi Bai Airport to fly to Danang. Upon arrival a private vehicle will be waiting for you for the 40 minute drive to Hoi An.

Day 6: Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An

Activities: Discover Vietnam’s rich cultural & historical heritage, visit My Son, Tra Kieu, view the Cham ruins and artifacts.
Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: After breakfast, we will discover Vietnam’s ancient architecture, the national character, rich cultural and historical heritage and visiting My Son Holy Land. My Son was recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999, the capital and religious centre of the Champa Kingdom and Tra Kieu, the temples of My Son were the most important temples of the Champa Kingdom between the 4th century and the 13th century (formerly known as Simhapura or the Lion Citadel) to view the Cham ruins and artifacts. This afternoon, a walking tour of Hoi An Ancient Town centre will take you back in time to when its was a major trading port in Asia.

Day 7: Hoi An – Hue

Activities: Taking photos at peak of Hai Van Pass, Cham Museum
Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: After breakfast at hotel, you will start to drive to Hue – The Former Capital of Vietnam. On the way to Hue, we will visit ancient architecture in Cham Museum in Danang that is the finest collection of Hindu-Cham sculptures in the world. Then spend time to take photos from Hai Van Pass.
Continue driving along the scenic coast of central Vietnam, contemplate panoramic views of the surroundings before descending to the picturesque fishing village of Lang Co.
Arrive in Hue, check in hotel and enjoy your own free time here.

Day 8: Hue City tour

Activities: Taking Dragon Boat and visiting famous historical sites in Hue
Breakfast, Dinner

Itinerary: After breakfast, start the morning City tour by taking Dragon Boat to ride along the Perfume River in Hue. You will have chance to contemplate the spectacular view from riversides. Stop to visit the historical sites of City including Hon Chen Temple, Minh Mang Tomb, and Thien Mu Pagoda. Admire the landscape and enjoy the sunset over the Perfume River before having dinner and enjoying traditional Vietnamese songs on the Dragon Boat.

Day 9: Hue – Ho Chi Minh City

Activities: Sightseeing, visiting the War Remnants Museum or History Museum, and the former Presidential Palace.

Ben Thanh Market in Ho Chi Minh

Itinerary: We will fly to Ho Chi Minh City. Begin your sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh City at the War Remnants Museum or History Museum, and the former Presidential Palace. Finish the day with a stroll around the city’s colonial architecture, including the Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall.
Note: History Museum is closed on Mondays.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City

Activities: Visit Cai Be floating market, An Binh island and enjoy the Mekong Delta before reaching Vinh Long town and drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
Breakfast, Lunch

Itinerary: Today we will start with the visit of Cai Be floating market. Here, you can see many wooden boats which play a role as stores where you can buy varying kinds of fruits and vegetables. Afterward, we may peek into a local workshop to learn how rice paste, coconut candy and pop rice are made.
There is also a handicraft village nearby where you can see how the locals make rice net for spring rolls, fish sauce and soya sauce, cooking salt, sewing coconut leaves for cottage proof.
In the afternoon, a delicious lunch will await you to enjoy at a 170 year old house.
After lunch, we will travel around in a traditional rowboat and see the traditional wooden houses, palm trees and the daily activities of the local like fishing and picking up fruits in the Mekong Delta.
An optional stop will be possible, you can visit a nursery garden to enjoy different types of fruits and discover how the growers of the Mekong Delta produce the world famous fruits and vegetables.
The cruise will end at around 3.30 PM in Vinh Long town. Then we will drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City Departure

Activities: Free enjoy at your leisure
Breakfast

Itinerary: Free time at your leisure, sightseeing, shopping, buy souvenirs, and take photos until transfer to Tan San Nhat Airport for your onward flight. End of services.
