There are many tour guides in Vietnam and throughout Southeast Asia that are good, Andy tourist and it’s principal, Andy Vu, stand out amongst them all. I have had the great privilege of traveling the planet for many decades and Andy stands out as providing exceptional service at great value, he is fun to travel with, accommodating and flexible, has great staff and
Connections, so much so that I spent three weeks with him in early 2017 touring Vietnam and then returned for a 5 week trip in October and early November 2017 as well. Andy arranged all facets of our trip, coordinating travels within Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.
Our first trip I was referred to Andy by a friend of a friend that had used his services, i am grateful for the recommendation and Andy was the first call I made when we decided to return. I can only say that I recommend Vietnam as an incredible destination with an amazing people and culture, your trip will be 100% enhanced with Andy at the helm!!

“Amazing Mai Chau Trip” – Review by TripAdvisor member
“Andy picked us up at 8:30 at the hotel for the trip to Mai Chau. We knew Andy because we went for a streedfood walk with him in Hanoi. Andy is extremely friendly, speaks very well English and knows a lot about Hanoi and Vietnam. Therefore we were glad he would take us also to Mai Chau.
The car ride to Mai Chau takes about 4 to 5 hours from Hanoi. On the way we stopped at Art Lackerware and had lunch at Bien Phu. There was a lot of rain that day but the driver of Andy has a lot of experience. And so we arrived safely in Mai Chau.
The rain really makes the trip adventurous. So do not worry if it’s bad weather. This is a great trip! Just take a look at the photos.
We stayed in Minh Tho Homestay in Mai Chau. A fairytale on earth and Minth and her husband are so nice. We made a beautiful walk and we had a very nice evening with great food and good company.
The next morning we went biking with Andy. A bike ride that we do not forget quickly, what a beautiful setting. We enjoyed everything, really worth it.
Andy, thanks for everything. You are a personal guide with class. We really recommend you. We liked to meet you and wish you a lot of luck with everything.
And if you ever come to Netherlands, let us know. Then we are your tour guide in Rotterdam.”

“4 Day Trips from Hanoi to Mai Chau – Ninh Binh – Halong Bay!”- Review by TripAdvisor member
“Andy picked us up in our Hotel in Hanoi where we started with a Food Tour through the Old Quarter in Hanoi. He showed us a few temples and churches and took us to Some ‘local’ restaurants, and meanwhile learned us a lot about the history of Hanoi and the local Food. We ended the day with some beers and a good converstation our the environment and future of Vietnam.
Next day Andy picked us up at the hotel with a driver for a 3 day trip to Mai Chau, Ninh Bink, Tam Coc and Ha Long Bay. During the drive Andy told a lot about the history of Vietnam and the cities different etnic groups we passed.
We definitily recommand Andy as a tour guide for your trip in Vietnam! Andy has a lot knowledge about the country, knows the ‘local’ things, has a lot of humor and speaks english very well. Andy made our honeymoon even more special :-)”

“We are 6 persons and have just done a fabulous trip with Andy Tourist. We had 11 day tour in Vietnam exploring Hanoi, Halong Bay, Sapa and Hoian and a bit of Hue royal city. We enjoyed so much especially Hanoi and Hoian with lots of fun and interesting activities, amazing food.
