Itinerary of Halong Bay day tour:
7h30-8.00 AM: Start your full-day tour to Halong Bay with the drive from Hanoi which takes approximately 3.5 hours by road. On the way to Halong city, enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffaloes on rice paddies and everyday Vietnamese farmers’ lives. You also have opportunity to have a short break en-road for refreshment and shopping. Then continue your drive to Halong city. You will get there properly around 12pm.
We have two cruise options:
Option 1: 4 hours cruise Halong Bay: Once at Halong Bay, board your private junk boat for a 4 hour cruise of this stunning area, stopping along the way to visit one of the limestone caves in the bay. Whilst on board indulge in a delicious seafood lunch.
We will stop to visit Dong Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace Grotto), located on a remote island in the bay. As the name suggests, the cave adorned with fantastic stalactites and stalagmites. Colored lights transform the scene into a fairytale palace. You will surprise at nature’s creativity. This cave seems to glisten with gold and silver.
Option 2: 6 hours cruise Halong Bay: This six-hour cruise we will travel further to visit Amazing Cave or Cave of Surprises is the largest cave in Halong Bay. Then enjoy a stop at Titop Island, with its powdery white sand and crystal water; Titop beach is a favorite place for a swim. A steep path leads to a lookout and a small pentagon-shaped pagoda that offers a breath-taking view of the whole bay scenery.
We sail around to enjoy the beauty of Halong bay with great photography opportunities, return to harbor for driving back to your hotel in Hanoi. Arrive at your hotel at around 20:00. End of Halong Bay day tour.
