Hoa Lu: the remains are the temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, the two national heroes who lived in 10th century and chose Hoa Lu to build the citadel of the capital city.
Tam Coc: means three caves – considered as Halong Bay on land, sitting on a boat rowed by local lady along rice field in the river and see the first limestone mountains, which will run along their river way for several kilometers.

DETAIL TOUR
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Today you’ll land in Hanoi. Warmly welcome by Tour Guide & Car Driver at airport then transfer to Hanoi Downtown, a city of lakes, shaded boulevards, public parks, and the capital of Vietnam. Check into your hotel. After lunch we will do an orientation walking tour to explore the vibrant streets of real Hanoi. We will walk and do a cyclo-rickshaw ride around the old quarter, sightseeing lakes, temples, markets….stay overnight in Hanoi
Day 2: Hanoi Sightseeing full day (B, L)
After breakfast at hotel, we will discover the main attractions of Hanoi. Located in the heart of the original place of the country, the long-century Hanoi, a city of lakes, shaded boulevards and public parks, is the capital of Vietnam. It is a very attractive city with French-style architecture. You have a full day of sightseeing Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex with presidential palace, HCM stilt-house, one pillar pagoda Then we continue to see temple of literature – the Confucius temple and also Vietnam’s first university 1000 thousand years ago. Lunch will be served in a special Vietnamese restaurant.
In the afternoon, we continue our visit to West Lake to see Tran Quoc temple or the national protection temple. After this temple we drive to the museum of ethnology or Vietnamese women museum; then visit the Opera House and St. Joseph Cathedral in the French quarter. Tour today will end with a special water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise full day (B, L)
Depart this morning for magnificent Halong Bay, a dedicated UNESCO Natural World Heritage site, to enjoy a boat cruise passing the islands of Trong, Mai, Am, Chen and Cong Troi (Heaven Gates). You will note as you cruise between the cliffs that many of them look like fairy-tale castles. Stop at one of the islands and visit one of the caves. Enjoy a seafood lunch onboard. Return to Hanoi with the rest of the afternoon and evening to relax. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc sightseeing full day (B, L)
Breakfast at hotel then drive to Ninh Binh. You will visit Hoa Lu – the former ancient Royal Capital of Viet Nam, Dinh Temple – where worshipped King Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Temple – where worshipped King Le Dai Hanh.
When finishing Hoa Lu Ancient Capital you spend 45 minutes transfer to Tam Coc. The Time for lunch. After having lunch, you will take a small bamboo boat and go along the Ngo Dong river to visit Tam Coc (Three Caves) – “Halong Bay on land” for 2hours. Then get back the wharf, and leave for Hanoi. Leave Tam Coc for Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi around 6:00pm. Check in hotel & overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi Departure. (B)
You have the morning free to relax before your return flight home. Tour end.
