Day 1: Hanoi arrival-city tour

Day 2: Hanoi – Drive to Halong bay-overnight on boat

Day 3: Halong bay-Hanoi-night train to Sapa

Day 1: Hanoi arrival – city tour(L)

AM: Our tour guide will pick you up from Noi Bai International airport then Car / Van will drive to Hanoi center for check in hotel and have lunch.

PM: After lunch, you will be transferred to visit the Temple of literature. Continue to visit Museum of Ethnology – the most interesting museum in Hanoi with many different things relating the 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. After that, you will visit Hoan Kiem lake (Restore Sword Lake). The last place of the tour is taking a walk for few minutes to visit The old quarter of Hanoi before watching Vietnamese water puppet show. overnight in hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong bay (B,L,D)

8AM: After breakfast at hotel, van / car & Impress team will pick us up and we start our 3,5 hours drive to Halong City stpping on the way for some refreshments and local hospitality.

12 Noon: Upon arrival at Halong City, we transfer to our boat for a cruise in the stunning Halong Bay. Sea food lunch will be served on board.

1PM – 2PM: The cruise will take you to discover Halong bay with exotic islands: shape of Dog, incense urn, sail island, fighting Cocks which are naturally formed by process of erosion between the see water and lime stone mountain.

2PM – 5PM: We will visit one of the most beautiful caves of Halong – Surprise Cave. Then our cruise is going to Titop island and beach for swimming or climb up to the top of the island for outstanding panoramic view of the Bay.

5PM – 6 PM: Our cruise drop anchor in the middle of Halong bay for overnight. Here you can swim around the cruise with green sea water or relax on the cruise deck for drink and enjoy a view with sunset.

7PM – 9 PM: Vietnamese seafood will be served for dinner then to go fishing squids.

Day 3: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi -night train to Sapa(B, L)

6AM – 8 AM: Enjoy a view with Halong bay sunrise and Tai Chi and breakfast.

8.30 AM – 9.30 AM: Take local bamboo boat to visit a tunnel cave – Green lagoon, one of highlight in Halong.

9.30 – 12 Noon: Continue to move around the bay to find more secluded areas – Bai Tu Long bay. Then return to harbour for lunch in Halong city.

1PM – 5 PM : Transfer back to Ha Noi

7 PM: Night train to Sapa – the cabin with 4 berths, soft sleeper and air-conditioning, you can book the whole cabin or you can share with 2 other persons.

There are several train depart from Hanoi station between 7pm to 10pm, the journey is about 8,5 hours, the end in Lao Cai Station.

Day 4: Lao Cai – Sapa, trekking to Ta Van village (B,L)

6 AM: The train arrives in Lao Cai at 6.30 a.m, local tour guide will pick you up from train station. We drive up to Sapa about 50 minutes on bus/van, you will be taken to a mini hotel for a morning showers then your breakfast at a local restaurant here.

8.30 AM: After breakfast & short morning beak and have some last preparation for the trekking to villages

10 AM – 3.30 PM:  We will embark on a lovely walk to Lao Chai and Ta van villages – Home to Black Hmong people. This is one of the most enjoyable will involving descending into a nearby valley inhabited by a variety of ethnic hill tribes. Once on the valley floor you can really appreciate the wonderful scenery that surrounds you. The walls of the valley are covered with multi – layered rice terraces and scattered villages. Picnic lunch by the river. The walk last approximately 3 – 4 hours through the spectacular villages and mountains.

4 PM – 5 PM: Can / van will pick you up from main road, then driving back to Sapa town for hotel overnight

Day 5: Sapa – Catcat village – Night train to Hanoi (B, L, D)

8.30 AM:  After breakfast at hotel, go to attend Sapa market to see local peole selling local foods, fruits, vegetable and traditional clothes, hadicraft brocades and indigo fabrics… and then walk down to visit Cat Cat village to visit some houses of the Black H’mong people10.30 AM : Visit Cat Cat waterfall and water power station built by the French in the early 20th Century

1PM – 4.30 PM: Free time in the afternoon for optional visits to Ham Rong mountain or Heaven Gate, Tram Ton Pass and Silver waterfall or free time to shop specialty of Sapa such as handicraft brocade, indigo fabrics…

5 PM: Leave Sapa by Bus in the late afternoon (5.30 p.m.) to Lao Cai station for our night train back to Hanoi.

Day 6: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Hanoi ( B, L)

5.30 AM: Pick up and transfer to mini hotel where is close to Hanoi train station for breakfast and shower.

8 AM: Our guide will pick up you at hotel in Hanoi, then driving to the south of Hanoi with 2 hours to Ninh Binh province.

It will be an exciting day highlighted firstly by 2 hours local boat ride in Tam Coc streams that we will enjoy the spectacular scenery while gliding along the river among rice paddies and ranges of limestone mountains peaking up towers over you.

PM: After lunch served with local food at a restaurant riverside, a short transfer through the peaceful country road to Hoa Lu, once the Vietnam’s ancient capital 11 centuries ago. Here are the two temples dedicated to the King Dinh and King Le, the founder of the capital in 10th century. Return to Hanoi at about 5.00 p.m. Overnight in hotel in Hanoi.

Day 7: Hanoi departure (B)
