Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Yangon Arrival (D)
On arrival, our guide and driver will welcome you at the Yangon International Airport. You will then be escorted to your hotel in the city center. Begin your first Myanmar visit to Shwedagon Pagoda – the most prominent monument in Yangon, which dominates the sky with a golden flash, giant spires and holy relics. Your dinner tonight will be served in Karaweik Palace, overlooking to the Royal Lake and Shwedagon Tower. The Burmese food dinner will be served with a traditional cultural show.

Day 2: Yangon – Bagan (B)
Travel from Yangon to Bagan and start your day with a visit to Shwezigone Pagoda, which is believed to enshrine a bone and tooth of Gautama Buddha. We will visit Ananda, Sulamani Temples.
In the afternoon, you will have a visit to the Bagan Archaeological Museum and learn about the traditional way local people make Bagan’s famous lacquer wares. We’ll end our day by enjoying a beautiful sunset cruise on Ayeyarwaddy River.

Day 3: Bagan Sightseeing tour (B)
After breakfast, we visit Minkaba Gubyaukyi Temple; take note of the architectural differences between MyaZedi Pagoda and the Manuha Temple. This afternoon, enjoy an exotic horse cart ride to one of the largest temples in Bagan: Nan Paya Pagoda along with many other interesting sites nearby. The highlight of today is the panoramic sunset view from the second highest pagoda in Bagan, the ShweSandaw Pagoda.

Day 4: Bagan – Mandalay – Mingun – Mandalay Hill (B)
Known as the hub of Buddhism, Mandalay is a realm of stupas, monks and monasteries. The most fascinating and intriguing part of the day will be the time studying the monks during their worship and meals.
Drive to Mandalay pier to embark on a private boat upstream to visit Mingun, famed for its huge and incomplete Pahtodawgyi Pagoda and Mingun Bell, the 90-ton ringing bell (second largest in the world).
In the afternoon, visit Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery – noted for its exquisite woodcarvings and gold leaf beating workshop, Kuthodaw Pagoda – known as the world’s biggest book and finish the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill to watch the sunset and a beautiful panoramic view of the city.

Day 5: Mandalay – Sagaing – Amarapura – Yangon (B)
Twenty kilometers outside of Mandalay rests Sagaing Hill. Discover the numerous Buddhist monasteries; visit Buddha Cave, Uminthonze Pagoda and Sunooponnyashin Pagoda. Behold the panoramic view of Mandalay.
The next stop is Amarapura. Famous for Mahagandaryone Monastery, Amarapura is the best place to experience the way of life for monks in Mandalay. Walk over Ubein Wooden Bridge, the longest teakwood of its type, to Mahamuni Image – a bronze Buddha image castled during the lifetime of Buddha himself. Travel to Yangon

Day 6: Yangon Departure (B)
Spend a half-day exploring Yangon and its highlights from Sule Pagoda in the heart of Yangon city to Chaukhtayi Pagoda. Enjoy some last minute shopping in Scott Market. Our driver will provide transfers to the airport for your departure flight.
