TOUR ITINERARY:
Day 1: Hanoi – Night Train to Laocai
Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and transfer to Hanoi railway station for boarding the Express Train to Laocai station. Overnight in an air-conditioning soft sleeper wooden cabin.
Day 2: Lao Cai – drive to Sapa – Trek to Lao Chai -Tavan Villages (B, L, D)
Upon arrival at Lao Cai station around 5.30 am, our local guide and driver will pick you up and transfer to Sapa town. The ride give you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. Upon arrival in Sapa Town we have breakfast in local restaurant and prepare for a long trek down to the picturesque valley of Muong Hoa. Start your treks from Sapa town. We will walk on small paths and trails down hill through Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai Villages of the Hmong people . Lunch will be prepared by our local guide while we have short break on en route then trek to Tavan Village – home to the Zay people. We will have unique homestay experience with Zay family tonight. Have dinner with your host family. Overnight in the Zay homestay.
Day 3: Tavan – trek to Ban Ho Village (home-stay) ( B/L/D )
After breakfast, farewell to your host family, Set out today for another day of adventure. We will trek across mountains, bamboo forest, terraces and streams to reach Ban Ho Village, a beautiful village at lower altitude. Picnic lunch by the stream before moving on to Ban Ho. Dinner and overnight in local house.
Day 4: Trekking Ban Ho-Nam Tong -Night train to Hanoi ( B/L/D )
After breakfast we will do a light trek to Nam Tong village inhabited by the Red Daos, discover their culture and tradition before descending to the Lavie waterfall for the nice pictures, Return to Ban Ho village and take a car ride back to Sapa.
Free at leisure in the afternoon, explore Sapa town on your own, enjoy shopping time in Sapa market. At 4PM, we transfer to Lao Cai for night train back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi early morning. End of services.
