Days 1: Hanoi Arrival (D).
Welcome to Hanoi – Vietnam’s capital city. Upon arrival, your driver and guide will meet you outside the baggage claim of Noi Bai Airport and take you to your hotel in the city center to check in Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi Hotel. Later in the afternoon take a walk in the Old Quarter with the guide and enjoy great shopping in the boutiques around St Josephs Cathedral. Savor a welcome dinner at one of Hanoi’s famous restaurants.
Day 2: Hanoi Sightseeing City Tour including food demonstration and Lunch (B, L).
Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel Hanoi’s globally reputed cuisine was the starting point for opening the hotel school of cookery. Veritable immersion in local culture, the experience starts with a stroll in the local market accompanied by the Spices Garden Chef, to discover Vietnamese ingredients, their flavors and see how local prepare for meals. This is followed by a cookery demonstration in the hotel kitchen where everyone plays an active role. After class, lunch is served in the Spices Garden Vietnamese restaurant to sample the different dishes.
In the afternoon you will explore Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas, Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone. Your city tour will take you to Hanoi’s key sites: the Temple of Literature; West Lake including the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple. Then enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Performance – a unique Vietnamese art form hailing from Southeast Asia’s wet-rice culture.
Day 3: Discover Halong Bay – Overnight Cruise on Luxury Boat (B, L, D).

12.00 – 12.30 : Embark at Hon Gai International harbor.
12.30 – 13.00 : Check-in, enjoy welcome drink & cruise briefing.
13.30 – 15.00 : Have lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay; admire the fascinating formations.
15.00 – 16.30 : Cruise to Cap La, Tra San.
16.30 – 17.30 : Enjoy paddling around Cap La and Tra San by kayak.
17.45 – 19.00 : Back to junk for swimming or relaxing.
19.00 – 21.00 : Have dinner and overnight on board in Cong Do.
Day 4: Visit the best Thien Canh Son cave – floating Village Vung Vieng (B, L, D).
07.30 – 08.00 : Morning view of Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the fresh air.
08.15 – 09.15 : Start cruising to Vung Vieng.
09.30 – 10.30 : Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by a rustic row-boat, meet the local people and visit fish farms.
10.30 – 11.30 : Reach to Hon Co Island for swimming or relaxing. Explore the well- hidden Thien Canh Son cave.
12.00 – 13.30 : Have a BBQ lunch and relax on a wild beach or in Thien Canh Son cave (Depending on the availability and weather condition).
13.45 – 15.45 : Back to junk for relaxing while cruising to Cong Do area
16.00 – 17.30 : Enjoy swimming or kayaking through Cong Do and Thay cave area
19.00 – 21.00 : Have dinner & overnight on board.
Day 5: Cruise Cong Do – Hon Gai Harbour – Hanoi Departure (B, L)
Start the day early to enjoy a Tai Chi class on top deck with an opportunity to admit the magnificent scenery of sunrise over the sea. After that, you can choose to go to Soi Sim beach for swimming or join your chef for cooking demonstration to learn more about Vietnamese cuisine art. On the way back, take deep cruise into Bai Tu Long Bay, passing Pearl Farm, Phao Dai islet, Tam Cung cave, Hon Xep islet, Dau Moi temple, opportunity to cruise through famous L’Indochine movie site (subject to tide condition).
Enjoy buffet brunch on board before arrival to the dock.
